I am including several tunes that I have played or that I am learning. Hopefully you will find something interesting that you can add to your repertoire. These are interesting for whatever reason and some of them are more worthy of your time than others, so you'll have to decide which ones stand out for you. There are so many tunes, but not all of them are worth your time, so don't spend precious time on a song or tune that is just not interesting. Develop the art of having a good ear for choosing worthy music. The good thing with these files is that you can give them a listen before you spend time learning them from the sheet music or tab. I transcribed many of these tunes (but not all) from the original artist recordings. I tried to get as close as possible to what they played, but I'm sure I missed some of the subtleties in their playing. At least you can learn the basics of their version and after that you can listen or play along with the recordings to correct the things I missed. After that, I encourage you to put your take on these tunes. Take liberties and create your versions. When you create your version, you will be creating and writing music which should be your ultimate goal. The only format that I use is Tabledit. It is such a great inexpensive program that is flexible for any musician (no matter what instrument you play or to what level). It is a great practice tool, because it will allow you to change the tempo to a speed more conducive to learning. With software like this, there is really no excuse for not being able to play. You will need the full version of Tabledit or the Free TEFviewer to view. You can download the FREE viewer here: I hope you find something here that you can use, if so the least you can do for me is to sign my guestbook on the "Contact Info" page. This will help me stay motivated to adding new tunes to the web-site. I need to know that someone is benefiting from my efforts. Also, please send me an email and share your thoughts or any good tune/s that you have discovered. All the tabs below are free for download for none commercial use for your learning, so have fun!!!
